Description: Box Jacking during an extraordinary Central Station closure. Taking advantage on Follo Line Master Plan activities, Bane NOR, Norwegian Railway Authority decided to proceed with the Box Jacking with Open air methodology. In this way, the 7.100 Tons Underpass was pushed minimizing the traffic impact and activities duration. It has been a milestone since it was the first time a Box Jacking methodology has been used in Norway. The structure was in place succesfully 10 days ahead of schedule.
